The National Executive Committee is made up of volunteers that oversee the operations of all district LLF Leagues that are affiliated to the National Little League Football organisation. The National Executive Committee consists of Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and four other elected members to support them in their work and the other Leagues.
Positions that become availible within the NEC then become open for election. Votes are taken place at the National AGM for any potential candidates who are elected into their respective role.
The NEC is the core of Little League Football, which was first set up in 1972 following the expansion of LLF.
Marlene started as a volunteer in 1989 at Northfield LLF, when the league first formed and was soon elected Secretary at Northfield in 1991.
Marlene was heavily involved with communications during Divisional structure and became secretary of the Birmingham Division and currently a long serving member of the NEC.
Aside from her duties, Marlene is also a Level 7 Referee and has been involved with leagues in the Birmingham FA.
Brian is an Insurance expert who has arranged tailor made policies for LLF. Taking on roles such as the Claims Officer for the Managers’ Accident Fund, he is also a long serving member of the NEC.
Wayne was elected as National Treasurer in 2013 after Frances Cooper stood down from the position.
Before this Wayne served for a number of years in Sutton Little League, where he continues to carry out weekly duties including Team Manager and League Treasurer.
Aside from his duties at Little League Football Wayne is also a Team Manager at AFC Wimbledon for one of their girls teams as a fully qualified FA Level 2 coach.
In 2015 Daryl took over from Dennis Jones and contiues to show great passion and enthusiasm within his role as National Secretary.
Prior to his role as National Secretary, Daryl has progressed in Little League Football from a player at Mitcham LLF to various positions within the Mitcham LLF Committee up to League Secretary. He was an elected NEC Member up until 2015 when he was the Insurance & Affiliation Co-ordinator and has has worked along side webmasters on the LLF website since 2013.
Daryl most recently has worked with Mark Greaves from Northfield LLF to design and re-develop the Little League Football website to its current condition.
Aside from Daryl's committments with Little League Football, he is also an FA Referee currently at Level 6 (County FA Referee) for both Surrey FA and The Amateur FA.
In 2016 Mark was elected as an NEC Member after a position on the Committee was made vacant after David Armitage was elected to Chairman of the National Executive Committee.
Prior to his role as NEC Member, Mark was very much involved with Mitcham Little League when he started as a Team Manager for his son Daryl (Secretary) joined a team at Mitcham. Mark continued after Daryl left and saw all four of his children through Mitcham as players. Mark then joined the Committee at Mitcham up to the position of Chairman.
In 2016 David took over from Bob Goodall and contiues to show great passion and enthusiasm within his role as National Chairman.
Prior to his role as National Chairman, David first started with Little League Football as a parent when his son played for Wallington Little League in 2001. A year later they moved to Sutton Little League and then joined the Sutton League Management Committee as Secretary and held this position for a number of years.
David then joined the National Executive Committee as a Member through his continued hard work in running the National Tournament each year alongside Peter Brown of Raynes Park Little League.
